Hard Row to Hoe

Wine is rooted in memories of experience and deliciousness. While the options of tasting wine are many, the experience of an exceptional place and event is limited. Our role was to create a space that captures a new generation of wine drinkers’ fascination with experience and deliciousness.

Situated along the breathtaking north shore of Lake Chelan, amidst vineyards and orchards, our architectural venture takes root in the resort community of Manson, WA. With a landscape that unfolds against rugged mountains and the grandeur of the lake, every glance presents a mesmerizing view. Manson, renowned for its world-class apple and cherry production, has now become a magnet for award-winning wine, adding another layer of allure to its scenic charm.

Tasked with the design mandate of drawing a younger audience to the winery, our approach embraced the site's inherent beauty. We envisioned a wine tasting room that transcends tradition, leveraging the natural vista to create an immersive event space. Here, guests are invited to not only savor the wines but to envelop themselves in an experience — one etched in memories and easily captured digitally. Our design aspires to be a conduit for the spirit of Manson, where the visual feast extends beyond the landscape to cultivate a new generation of wine enthusiasts.
